Background

The German Leadership Award was initiated and launched by the German Alumni of Collège des Ingénieurs (CDI) in 2013. In January of 2016, it was awarded for the third time at Brenners Park-Hotel and Spa in Baden-Baden. The Award recognizes leaders, companies or institutions that integrate effective leadership principles in an innovative and successful way and that promote such values within the broader civil society. The Award reflects the leadership ideals of young, successful managers of Generation Y (born after 1980) in German-speaking companies or institutions. These high-performing young engineers, alumni of the prestigious Collège des Ingenieurs, seek outstanding examples of exemplary corporate governance from their own research and professional experience and submit nominations to the Jury for consideration.
