Jury

Experienced managers and alumni of the Collège des Ingenieurs form the jury of the German Leadership Award. They have set out to find new leadership styles and the best examples of a successful management culture that focuses on the individual and promotes the value structure of employees.

Lars Wagner (CEO MTU Aero Engines AG) *
Lars Wagner has held the position of CEO of MTU Aero Engines AG since January 2023. Prior to his appointment as CEO, Wagner had been MTU's Chief Technology Officer since January 2018. The graduate mechanical engineer, aerospace engineer (RWTH Aachen) and Master of Business Administration (Collège des Ingénieurs) has been Head of OEM Operations at MTU since July 2015. Prior to this, Wagner held various management positions at Airbus, most recently in Hamburg after holding international positions.

Stefan Heidbreder (Managing Director of the Family Business Foundation)
Stefan Heidbreder, born in 1967, has been Managing Director of the Family Business Foundation since 2005. After studying business administration, he worked as a manager and consultant for leading family businesses. He has several teaching assignments, for example at the Technical University of Munich, and is involved in various national and international committees on the subject of family businesses.

Alexandra Schneider (Vice President Organizational Development of the BMW Group) *
Alexandra Schneider, Dipl.-Ing. Mechanical Engineering from RWTH Aachen University and alumna of the Collège des Ingénieurs, has been Vice President at the BMW Group since 2022. Previously, she was CFO for the MINI plant in Oxford (UK). Her career at BMW includes senior positions in controlling, strategy, cost analysis and strategic purchasing. She gained her first professional experience at Siemens Management Consulting and United Technologies Corporation.
